ScrimX is operated by Starcode Tech vl. Karlo Starčević, a sole proprietorship (obrt) registered in the Republic of Croatia. This policy complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), GDPR, and the Croatian Electronic Communications Act.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously. They are only set with your explicit consent.

2.3 Functional Cookies

These first-party cookies enable core functionality and personalization, such as remembering your selected game or dismissed in-app prompts. They do not track you across other websites. Because they are required to operate the app you are signed into, we treat them as strictly necessary — they do not require separate consent, and the processing involved is described in our Privacy Policy.

When you first visit ScrimX, you will see a cookie consent banner that lets you:

• Accept all — enables analytics cookies
• Reject non-essential — keeps analytics off
• Manage — turn analytics on or off

Until you consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are not loaded. Strictly necessary cookies — including the first-party functional storage required to run the app you are signed into (such as your selected game or dismissed prompts) — are always active, as permitted for service-essential cookies. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer, or under Profile → Preferences when signed in.

Note: data we collect to run the service itself — such as your match results and statistics, or activity reported by the optional ScrimX desktop app — is not governed by these cookie settings. That processing is described in our Privacy Policy, and the desktop app asks for your consent before it runs.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with ScrimX. We have configured Google Analytics with the following privacy settings:

• IP anonymization is enabled by default in GA4
• Data sharing with Google for advertising purposes is disabled
• Data retention is set to 14 months
• Analytics cookies are only loaded after explicit user consent
